I never knew I loved this until not long ago. It's honestly INSANELY good.
With the right vessel to eat it in of course. That's why i include the za'atar pita chips. Because you just NEED flavor on flavor to get the whole experience!!
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
500g frozen chopped spinach
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (or more)
2 cups heavy cream
1.5 cup mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup parmesan
DIRECTIONS:
Melt your butter in a pan at medium heat. Add garlic and saute until fragrant. Add frozen spinach and let it completely string. Be sure to scrape the bottom of your pan and not let the spinach burn.
Add salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and heavy cream. Bring it to a light boil. Add 1 cup mozzarella and parmesan.
Transfer to an oven safe baking dish. Sprinkle more mozzarella on top. Broil for 3-4 minutes.
Zaatar pita chips
Prepare a mixture of olive oil, zaatar and garlic powder. Cut your pita in triangles and place on a lined baking sheet. Brush mixture on pita. Bake at 350 for about 8 minutes.
