2 pack mini shrimp (“asian star” has a great size)
1/2 package spicy panko (I use Pereg brand)
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp black sesame seeds
DIRECTIONS:
In a large mixing bowl, combine 6 first ingredients and whisk until thick but runny texture forms. Set aside
Prepare a bowl with panko and sesame seeds. Prepare a full size sheetpan line with parchment paper.
Dip each shrimp in the wet mixture first. Drain from excess and dip in panko mixture. Lay each one on parchment paper.
Heat about 1 inch of oil in a large pan at medium heat. Fry each shrimp for about a minute per side, or until golden. Drain on paper towel.
Spicy mayo dip:
3 tbsp mayo, 1 tsp sriracha, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp ground ginger. Whisk it all together.
