Shallot Chicken

This dish is all about those golden shallots. They caramelize and shine through the smells of those glorious drumsticks. They soak all the flavors of the dish.


Serve them over any starch. They will rock your world!!



chicken recipe



  • 15 drumsticks

  • About 3 lb shallots, peeled

  • 1/2 cup Silan

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp Paprika

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Pepper

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 2 tbsp Oil

  • 3/4 cup Chicken broth



DIRECTIONS:


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. In a large oven safe pan, place drumsticks so they lay next to each other and don’t overlap.

  3. Stick shallots in all the small spaces. Drizzle silan on top, lemon juice, spices, bay leaves, oil and broth.

  4. Cover and bake for an hour and a half. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
