Shabbat Shnitsel Sandwich

If you ask me what an Israeli sandwich looks like, it’s this!


The sandwich of all Friday goodness for lunch. Really is there anything better than that?!

Classic Shnitsel


  • Chicken breast, cut thinly

  • Eggs, beaten and salted

  • Flour

  • Panko crumbs


Dip chicken breast pieces in flour, then egg, then panko. Fry in hot oil.

You can add/remove any topping. I used the classic trio but go ahead and add any shabbat salads you made for that week!
