Quick meals is where it’s at!
Gnocchis are so quick to prepare. When you pair them with a solid sauce, it absorbs the flavors. Such a good comfort dish!
1 lb minced beef (half lean)
400 ml tomato sauce
3 tbsp oil
1/2 lemon
1 garlic clove
1 shallot
1/2 tsp oregano
1 bay leaf
Salt
2 lb gnocchi of choice
DIRECTIONS:
Heat a pan at medium high heat. Add oil to pan. Add meat and break apart.
Once meat is almost fully browned, add tomato sauce, garlic and spices. Mix to combine. Lower heat to a simmer and cover the pot.
Bring another pot of water to a rolling boil. Salt the water generously. Boil your gnocchi according to package directions. Drain and place directly in prepared sauce.
Mix gnocchi in the sauce and adjust salt level. Serve immediately.
