Another quick and easy dinner you can prepare in a few minutes. You’ll never have enough of those dinner recipes!
Yields about 10 tacos
1lb minced beef
1 can chickpeas, drained and washed
2 tbsp neutral oil (i used avocado)
2 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
3 tsp shawarma seasoning
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp granulated onion
2 tbsp tomato paste
Cabbage salad, on the side
Israeli salad, on the side
Soft flour tortillas
DIRECTIONS:
Heat a pan oven medium high heat. Add oil. Transfer chickpeas and 1 tsp shawarma seasoning and 1 tsp salt and fry until golden. Remove and set aside.
Add meat to pan. Break it apart as it cooks. Add shawarma seasoning, paprika, garlic and onion. Then add tomato paste and mix it up. Remove from pan once fully cooked through.
Use a clean pan to heat your tortillas on both sides to remove the plastic-y taste that they get from the package. Prepare your cabbage and Israeli salad.
Build your taco. Top with fresh herbs.
