Introducing Matsa Crack. The best crunchy snack you can ever have on pessach!!

  • 1/2 cup margarine/butter

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 3 square matsa

  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips


Toppings of your choice: any chopped nuts, coconut, more chocolate, sprinkles, sea salt, halva, dried fruit…



DIRECTIONS:


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place your matsa on it.

  2. In a small saucepan, combine margarine and brown sugar. Mix continuously at medium heat. When bubbles, leave it for about 2 minutes to create caramel. Pour quickly on matsa. Place in the oven for 15 minutes.

  3. Once out of the oven, and still hot, sprinkle chocolate chips on it and spread using a spatula. Sprinkle any topping of choice on it. Set aside until chocolate is completely harden. Break apart!!
