Marble Cheese Bundt Cake

I’m always trying different bundt cakes. I love to switch up my flavors and textures to keep it interesting.


For this one, i combined the richness of chocolate spread with the tartness of cheese filling. Let me tell you… it is bomb!!

Cake


  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • 1/2 cup orange juice

  • 1 3/4 cup flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla


Filling:


  • 250g cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 egg

  • Chocolate spread



DIRECTIONS:


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, start by whisking you eggs very well. Add 1 cup of sugar gradually to the eggs to form a thick, pale texture.

  3. Add oil, orange juice, flour, baking powder and vanilla and mix.

  4. Grease a bundt pan and pour your batter in.

  5. For the filling: add cream cheese, egg and sugar to a bowl of a mixer. Beat at high speed until whipped.

  6. Melt your chocolate spread in the microwave to create a thiner mixture.

  7. Add dollops of cream filling and chocolate spread to your bundt. Swirl them around using a toothpick.

  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
