Lemony Spicy Garlic Confit

Garlic confit has to be one the the greatest flavor addition to a dish. Add preserved lemon and jalapenos to this and it takes it up to a whole other level!

  • 5 jalapenos, sliced

  • 4-5 heads of garlic, peeled

  • 1/4 of a preserved lemon, cubed

  • Olive oil



DIRECTIONS:


In a small saucepan, add all ingredients. Cover with olive oil. Bring up to a light boil then quickly reduce heat to a simmer. Let it simmer for about an hour or until the garlic starts turning a dark beige color.
