Once in a while, I treat my kids to fried cod fish sticks. They are obsessed! And with good reason!
Get ready for crunchy goodness as tender cod gets coated in a golden crust. You won’t be able to resist these incredible treats!
1 lb cod, cut in sticks shape
2 eggs
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup breadcrumbs
Oil, for frying
DIRECTIONS:
1. Start by beating eggs with spices. In another bowl, prepare breadcrumbs.
2. Dip your fish first in the egg mixture, then in breadcrumbs. Set aside and repeat for all.
3. Heat a pot of about 1 inch of oil to medium high heat. Once hot, start frying in batches. Drain on paper towel.
4. Eat hot and crunchy, dipped in your favorite sauce.
