What to do with a ton of challah leftover from Shabbat? A killer Sunday breakfast šŸ˜





  • 1 Leftover challah, sliced in 1 cm thick

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • Butter stick, for pan


Toppings:

  • Maple syrup, to drizzle

  • Powdered sugar, to sprinkle





DIRECTIONS:


  1. In a bowl, mix together heavy cream, eggs and maple syrup. Prepare a pan at medium heat. Butter the pan.Ā 

  2. Dip slices of challah in the mixture, remove excess and place on the pan. Sear each side of the French toasts until dark.Ā 

  3. Serve with maple syrup and powdered sugar.Ā
