Easiest Short Ribs

One of my all time favorite recipe!!!


The best part about this recipe is that it is EASY, and easy speaks to me!

Just make the rub, dip the meat, place in a dish in the oven, then drizzle silan when it’s almost done, and DONE. Can't be easier! 


Ps- Always try to look for silan that is 100% date! 





  • 15 short ribs (if you wash them, make sure to dry them very well)

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp granulated garlic 

  • 1 tsp granulated onion

  • 1 tsp allspice

  • 1 tsp mustard powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp onion soup mix

  • About 1/2 cup silan (a good drizzle on each rib)



DIRECTIONS:


  1. Preheat oven to 300F. 

  2. Combine all spices in a small bowl. Dry rub all your short ribs in the spice mix and place in a oven safe baking dish. 

  3. Cover very tightly with double layer of foil and place in the oven for 3 hours. 

  4. Carefully remove from oven. Raise oven temp to 400F. 

  5. Discard half of the liquid, leaving the rest. 

  6. Drizzle silan on the ribs. Cover again and place in the oven for 20 minutes.
