Dreaming of making donut holes in a few min??

These come together by the time that your oil heats up, literally.

Make them, and you’ll have fresh treats for your Channukah nights!

donuts

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup ricotta

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp rum

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 lemon, zested

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1 1/3 cup flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp cornstarch

  • Oil

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine eggs, ricotta, vanilla, rum and melted butter and mix. Add lemon zest, sugar, flour, baking powder and cornstarch. Whisk until well mixed.

  2. Heat 1 inch of oil at 350 in a pot. Using a cookie scoop, scoop out balls of batter directly in the oil.

  3. Flip them and cook until golden brown.

  4. Transfer to wire rack. Then, into the topping of your choice. I did cinnamon sugar.
