Chummus

The creamiest chummus is so easy to make.


I've made many different versions of chummus throughout the years. I like it quick. I like to know I can have chummus when I want to have it.


I get it, dry chickpeas are the real way to make it. But I challenge you to try my method in the blender and you will love it!


The only secret is a high performance blender!



hummus



  • 2 cups canned chickpeas, drained

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • 2 tbsp tahini

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp water

  • 2 tbsp olive oil



DIRECTIONS:


  1. In a high performance blender, combine all ingredients.

  2. Blend at high speed. If you have a blender mixer (like in my video), use it. If not, stop it a couple of times to scrape down the sides.

  3. Your chummus is ready when it is creamy and no piece remains.
