A side dish that pairs amazing with almost any piece of meat!
It’s festive, requires very little ingredients and looks beautiful on a holiday table.
3 tbsp oil
6 onions, sliced in half moons
6 packs roasted chestnuts (600g in total)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp thyme
DIRECTIONS:
Heat a large pan at medium heat. Add oil. Add your onion slices and saute, mixing often using a wooden spatula, until a golden color forms.
Add chestnuts and spices and saute on a low flame until onions become softer and more golden in color, and chestnuts caramelize.
Serve alongside a meat of choice.
