Boozy Fruit Salad

A dessert you can whip up on Shabbat, or for a post summer BBQ treat. I can never get enough of it!


It’s that subtle hint of alcohol, paired with mint and the sourness of orange juice and all the bright fruits that makes it totally and completely addicting.


I recommend using seasonal ripe fruits, and always including as many colors as possible. After all, we all eat with our eyes first!

  • 3 mangoes

  • 5 kiwis

  • 4 peaches

  • 6 plums

  • 1 box blueberries

  • 1 box strawberries

  • 1 pineapple

  • 1 pomegranate

  • 3/4 cup orange juice

  • 1.5 ounce white rum

  • 1 handful mint leaves



DIRECTIONS:


  1. Cube all your fruits. Take the time here to properly cut your fruits to your desired shape.

  2. Transfer to a large serving bowl. Add mint, orange juice and rum.

  3. Mix and serve immediately
