Nop, Summer is not over just yet.
You can still sneak a few Sunday BBQs. And if you want to take it up a notch, make these chicken burgers!
They are juicy, fresh, flavorful. All you need to fill your burger buns!
(Yields 7 burgers)
1 package minced white chicken (about 1.3lbs)
1 shallot
5-6 garlic cloves
1/2 cup cilantro, packed
2/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp sumac
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 egg
DIRECTIONS:
Heat your BBQ at medium high heat. I like to brush half an onion on the grates to clean them before I place my food.
Process your cilantro, shallot and garlic until fine.
To a mixing bowl, add all your ingredients. Mix until combined.
Oil a baking sheet as well as your hands. Form large patties.
Spray oil on top of your burgers.
Place burgers on grill and close it. Let them cook for 5 minutes. Flip. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Remove and stuff in your burger bun!
