Here is a great appetizer option for those holiday/shabbat lunches. Its light, fresh and most of all, you don’t have to prep a thing until right before serving. Its the perfect addition when you’re short on prep time beforehand and still want a nice vibrant dish to serve as appetizer!
1 tuna steak, sushi grade, very finely diced
3 avocados, finely diced
4 green onions, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup cilantro/parsley, chopped
1 lemon, juiced
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sriracha (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Crunchy fried onion, to top
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix well. Transfer to a small soup bowl and fill until the top, making sure to pack it. Keep refrigerated until serving (this will help strengthen the dome). When ready to serve, transfer to a plate carefully. Top with crunchy fried onion. Eat with crackers or bread.
